WE ARE EXILES
Philippians 3:20 (esv)
“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Who we are
In each episode of The Exiles Podcast, we take time to engage real life with real faith. We talk openly about the challenges and joys of following Jesus in our everyday lives—our work, our families, our communities, and our ministries. These aren’t distant theological discussions; they are grounded, honest conversations that help us see how the gospel shapes the way we think, speak, and live in a world longing for hope.
We also revisit and reflect on Sunday’s message, digging deeper into the Word together. Our sermon recaps are not just summaries—they are opportunities to apply biblical truth to the week ahead. Whether you’re listening on your commute, during a quiet moment, or with your small group, our goal is to help you stay connected to what God is speaking and equip you to live it out faithfully and courageously.
Finally, this podcast offers a fresh outlook for believers seeking to engage the world with both conviction and compassion. We explore how to approach difficult conversations, navigate cultural tensions, and respond to brokenness with grace and truth. Life in exile is not easy, but it is purposeful—and together, we want to learn how to represent Christ well, love others deeply, and remain rooted in the unshakable hope of the gospel.
We are believers who recognize that following Christ means living as sojourners in a world that often stands opposed to the gospel. Like exiles, we are not at home here—yet we are deeply rooted in the promises and truths of Scripture. We gather stories, reflections, and teachings that encourage the faithful to stand firm, to keep our eyes on Jesus, and to live counterculturally in love, humility, and truth.
At the heart of who we are is a commitment to walk together—because the journey is hard, and isolation weakens us. Through this podcast, we want to foster community, sharpen our faith, and embolden one another to remain steadfast in a culture unsettled by the message of Christ. We believe Christ calls us to be both present in the world and uncompromising in conviction, offering hope, truth, and compassion in every season.
Our heart beats for those who are weary, wandering, or wounded—those searching for truth, peace, and purpose in a world that feels fractured. We are here to reach the reachable and teach the teachable, extending grace to those who feel unseen and reminding them that Christ is still enough. No matter where you are on your journey, you belong in the conversation. Here, you will find honesty, hope, and the unwavering truth that God has not forgotten you.
